The Veritas volleyball team split two matches Saturday at home.

The Eagles defeated Topeka Cair Paravel 2-0 (25-18, 25-20) and lost to the Wichita Warriors (WAHAA) 2-0 (25-17, 25-7).

In the victory, Shereen Sattaahi had five aces for Veritas. Shelby Holmes added five digs, and Sarah McDermott had four kills.

In the loss, Holmes notched seven digs, and Teri Huslig had four assists.
