Houston — Case Keenum ran four yards for a touchdown with 49 seconds left to give Houston a comeback victory over Texas Tech on Saturday night. The Cougars trailed 21-10 in the first half, but held Tech’s high-powered offense to one second-half score.

Austin, Texas — Colt McCoy and Texas got the fast start they had been missing in recent weeks, rolling to a 40-point lead by halftime.
McCoy passed for 286 yards and three touchdowns, two to Dan Buckner. The Longhorns (4-0) also pressured UTEP quarterback Trevor Vittatoe into five turnovers.

Stillwater, Okla. — Keith Toston ran for 84 yards and three first-half touchdowns, and Oklahoma State overpowered Grambling State even with star running back (Kendall Hunter) and wide receiver (Dez Bryant) out with injuries.

Manhattan — Brandon Banks became the 12th player in NCAA history to return two kickoffs for touchdowns in a game.

Ames, Iowa — Alexander Robinson rushed for 127 yards and scored three touchdowns to help Iowa State to its second straight victory.
Austen Arnaud added 175 yards passing and two touchdowns for the Cyclones (3-1), who have surpassed their two-wins total from 2008.

College Station, Texas — Jerrod Johnson tied a Texas A&M quarterback record with three rushing touchdowns and threw three TD passes.
