Baldwin City — Dan Harris, who retired this year as Baker University’s athletic director, and four others have been selected for the school’s Athletic Hall of Fame.
The other honorees are the late Charlotte Lewis Piper, a former swim coach at New Mexico University; Jerry Steele, a multiple letter-winner in football and basketball; Clarence Hawk, a two-time all-conference pick in basketball; and David Johnson, a conference tennis champion.
Induction ceremonies will be Oct. 2 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Overland Park. The inductees will also be recognized at halftime of Baker’s football game with Culver-Stockton on Oct. 3.
