Kansas City, Mo. — A former Hickman Mills counselor has been sentenced for having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old boy who was student at another school.
On Friday, a Jackson County judge sentenced Toni R. Warren to three years in prison but suspended the sentence and placed her on probation.
It was reported that the 36-year-old was an elementary school counselor in the Hickman Mills School District but resigned earlier this year after the allegations were raised.
