Paul Hahn, M.S., LMFT, of Hahn Marital Therapy in Lawrence, will conduct a pastoral counseling training seminar for clergy at 9:15 a.m. Oct. 20 at Signs of Life, 722 Mass.
The purpose of the seminar is to help church workers in all types of Christian ministries to better understand the role they play in the mental and emotional health of their churches.
The seminar is open to anyone who serves in a ministerial role; whether they are paid, professional clergy, a volunteer lay minister or a member of a church eldership or church board.
The program will cover a number of mental health and relationship topics that church leaders may encounter in the course of their work.
The program will attempt to provide an overview of common mental health issues.
Hahn is a licensed marriage and family therapist practicing in the Lawrence area.
