Stagg JGC Winner: Bud Stagg fired a three-over 75 and won the weekly Jayhawk Golf Club tournament Sunday at Alvamar. William Gantz was runner-up at 78, with Mike Naegele, Travis Walsh and Van Reichert all posting 79s. In net scoring, Randy Gebhards was low with a 68, followed by Tony Kovach 70, Bob Kocour 72 and Mike Farve and Mike Hertling, each at 74.

Family Promise Golf: Former Kansas University basketball players Wayne Simien and Christian Moody will be co-hosts for the Family Promise benefit golf tournament on Monday at Lawrence Country Club.
