Kansas City signs wide receiver Wade

Chiefs part ways with converted linebacker Turk McBride

? The Kansas City Chiefs signed free agent wide receiver Bobby Wade on Tuesday and waived linebacker Turk McBride.

Since 2003, Wade has appeared in 90 games, including 44 starts with the Chicago Bears.

He was with Tennessee from 2005-06 and Minnesota 2007-08.

Wade has caught 208 passes for 2,491 yards with seven touchdowns during his NFL career. He has also made 50 kickoff returns for an average of almost 24 yards and returned 57 punts for an average of 8.8 yards.

At the University of Arizona, his 4,785 all-purpose yards were fourth in school history.

McBride played in 25 games for the Chiefs from 2007-08 and this year was converted from defensive end to linebacker.
