Kream Keegan contest canceled for 2009

We're sorry to announce that we won't be running the Kream Keegan football pick 'em contest for the 2009 football regular season.
A technical problem prevents us from receiving entries and scoring each user's submission. While the error is repairable with enough time, part of the reason we won't be fixing Kream Keegan this season is because we're developing new contest tools that we hope will replace the many-years old Kream Keegan contest.
By basketball season, we hope to roll out a score predictor contest, that will allow fans to guess the score of each KU men's basketball game. One winner each game would win a T-shirt and possibly other prizes. We also intend to build some more contests around the NCAA Tournament in March and possibly around the NCAA football bowls in December and January.
In the meantime, you can still sign up for a drawing to win your own Kream Keegan T-shirt. Send an email with "Kream Keegan" in the title, along with your name, address and shirt size in the text of the email to jnewell@ljworld.com. Five winners will be picked from the emails received, with each winner receiving a free Kream Keegan T-shirt. The deadline for receiving entries is noon CST on Tuesday, Sept. 15. One entry per person please.
