No. 12 Baker falls, 34-14, in opener

MARSHALL, MO. — The No. 12 Baker football team lost its season opener to No. 16 Missouri Valley, 34-14, Saturday.

Missouri Valley racked up 408 yards on offense, while Baker tallied 196, including just three yards rushing.

Baker quarterback Mack Brown threw for 193 yards, no touchdowns and one interception. Richie Bryant rushed for one touchdown for Baker.

Andrew Patch scored Baker’s first touchdown, returning an interception 57 yards.
