From the Lawrence Daily World for Oct. 27, 1909: Officially condemning, by resolution, hazing, the university board of regents has ordered the suspension of Herbert Soelter and H.C. Berger to be in effect until Thanksgiving. The board also promises more severe penalties for the next offenders caught in hazing activities.”
