KU men’s golf places 7th in K.C.

? The Kansas men’s golf team shot a final-round 313 to place seventh on Tuesday at the Bill Ross Intercollegiate at Blue Hills Country Club.

Junior Jeff Bell was the bright spot for KU, firing a 75 and tying for 11th place individually. Junior Nate Barbee shot a 79 and tied for 16th.

Central Arkansas edged out Nebraska by five strokes for the team title. Dustin Garza of Wichita State won medalist honors.
