Veritas cruises to 7-0

Veritas remained undefeated on the season Friday after the mercy rule came into play. The game ended shortly after the second half began with Veritas beating Kickapoo Nation 52-6.

Veritas Christian School honored its football seniors Friday night, and all three of the Eagles’ seniors scored in a 52-6 home victory against Kickapoo Indian Nations.

Hogan Randall scored on touchdown runs of three and two yards and on a two-point conversion run, Jacob Reynolds scored on a 16-yard pass from Ethan Scott, and Timothy Kramer scored on a conversion run as Veritas improved to 7-0.

Scott gained 120 yards on six carries and scored on a 56-yard run and a 63-yard kickoff return. Preston Randall, who ran three times for 50 yards and caught two passes for 32 yards, scored on a three-yard run and a 60-yard kickoff return.

The Eagles will play at St. Mary’s Academy on Friday.
