The Lawrence Senior Center is hosting a presentation on heart health.

“Warning Signs of Strokes and Heart Attacks” will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Oct. 14 at the center, 745 Vt.

John Drees, community education specialist at Lawrence Memorial Hospital and a registered nurse, will discuss prevention, therapy and treatment for heart attacks and stroke.

He will use a slideshow and pictures to explain the signs and symptoms.

The presentation is free and open to anyone.
