Baldwin City — Five Baker University players have earned first-team berths on the All-Heart of America Athletic Conference football team.
BU’s first-teamers are running back Richie Bryant, offensive tackle Clint Benge, defensive tackle Levi Calhoun, safety Colton Miller and defensive end Andrew Patch. Wildcats named to the second team are kicker Derek Doerfler and punt returner Reggie Harris.
Tapped for the third team are quarterback Mack Brown, offensive tackle Phil Collins, cornerback Brandon Hill and defensive lineman Alphaeus Williams.
Honorable mention went to linebackers Matt Brock, Calvin Pierce and Ryder Werts; wide receiver Brad Fawcett; and punter Danny Ohmes. Werts is a Free State High product.
