Maria Parker will be recognized tonight when Haskell Indian Nations University’s women’s basketball team entertains Ottawa U. at 7 p.m., in Coffin Complex. Parker, a 6-foot senior from Green Bay, Wis., recently went over 1,000 points to become the school’s career scoring leader. The Fightin’ Indians, ranked No. 25 in the NAIA Div. II preseason poll, are off to a 7-2 start behind Justina George and Parker who are averaging 17.1 and 15.3 points, respectively.
