The Kaw Valley Council of MoveOn is hosting a “honk and wave rally” to thank U.S. Rep. Dennis Moore for supporting the Affordable Health Care for America Act.

The rally will be at noon today — Nov. 13 — outside his local office at Ninth and Kentucky. The council plans to deliver a thank-you letter to his staff after the rally.

Jo Anderson, coordinator, said, “Moore made a courageous decision, voting his conscience instead of bowing to pressure from well-financed supporters of the status quo, when he joined the majority of the House of Representatives in supporting HR 3962.”
