Second suspect charged in attempted robbery at mobile home

A second man was arrested in connection with the burglary attempt at the Easy Living mobile home that ended with two people being shot. The incident occurred in August.

Prosecutors announced charges Thursday against a 20-year-old Kansas City, Mo., man arrested in connection with an attempted robbery in August that ended with the suspects being shot.

Timothy Hays was charged with attempted aggravated robbery, conspiracy to commit aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary.

Co-defendant Louis Galloway was charged earlier.

Both men recovered from life-threatening gunshot wounds, which police said were delivered by the intended robbery victim. The incident occurred Aug. 26 at Easy Living mobile home park, 3323 Iowa.
