Waugh Hole-in-One: Jerry Waugh used a 22-degree hybrid to ace the 155-yard No. 8 hole Thursday at Alvamar Country Club. Witnesses were Ross Randall, Bob Shmalberg and Bob Stephens.

10K Trail Run: Lawrence Trail Hawks will stage the Sanders’ Saunter 10K trail run on Nov. 22 at the Clinton Lake north shore trails. An entry form and information are available at www.lawrencetrailhawks.com or by e-mailing nick.lang@gmail.com.

Roberts Low: Conrad Roberts shot a 1-over 73 and won the Jayhawk Golf Club weekly tournament Sunday at Alvamar by two strokes over Tyler Cummins and William Gantz. Brent Mertz shot 76 and Mike Naegele 78. In net scoring, Gary Gatten was low with a 66, followed by Randy Gebhards and Duane Dickson, both at 68. Tom Taylor carded 71 and Curt Anderson 74.

Thanksgiving 5K: The sixth-annual Thanksgiving Day 5K will be at 8:30 a.m. Nov. 26 at Woodlawn School. Entry forms are available at local sporting goods stores and fitness centers. For information, go to http://runlawrence.org. or call 841-3587.

LHS Fundraiser: The Lawrence High boys and girls basketball programs will be hosting a pancake-feed fundraiser Saturday, Nov. 21, from 8-10 a.m. at Applebee’s on Sixth Street. For $5 you get all-you-can-eat pancakes and a drink. Tickets can be pre-purchased by contacting boys coach Mike Lewis at 785-840-5492 or girls coach Nick Wood at 785-477-5015. Tickets also can be purchased that morning at Applebee’s.
