Hunting bow, cash reported stolen from vehicle

A 43-year-old Syracuse, N.Y., man reported Monday theft of multiple items from a vehicle.

According to police reports, the man said items totaling $1,685, including cash, a hunting bow and a backpack, were taken from a car in the 1100 block of North Third Street sometime between 5:13 a.m. and 5:24 a.m. Monday.

I love how the paper can't just say the Motel 6--it's the only thing there.

Some deer hunting bows have a lot of gadgets on them. Unless these deer are going to be wearing kevlar I don't quite see the point. Natives brought down all the game they needed to survive without all the gizmos. The old ways are still the best ways.
