KU rowers 1-2 in Novice Single

Chattanooga, Tenn. — Kansas University rowing sophomore Paige Stephens and junior Cassie Sparks finished 1-2 in the Novice Single division Sunday at the Head of the Hooch.
Senior Katie Beall followed up her eighth-place finish in the Championship Double on Saturday with a fourth-place finish in the LightWeight Single on Sunday morning, while Stacy Rachow was seventh in the Championship Single division.
In the Women's Open 4x, Kansas finished fifth, sixth, and eighth.
The Jayhawks will begin the spring season on March 27, 2010, in Austin, Texas against Texas.
