JGC Winners: Mike Beaton, Mike Ordrowski, Conrad Roberts and Pete Whitenight teamed for 19-under and won the Jayhawk Golf Club’s three-ball waltz Sunday at Alvamar. Runners-up at 14-under were Gary Gatten, Mike Naegele, Ed Scholtes and Bud Stagg. Tied at 12-under were Randy Gebhards, Mike Farve and Drew Walters, and Chris Anderson, Bill Hamilton and Mike Hertling.

Lion Honored: Lawrence High’s Lillian Schonewise was named to the All-Class 6A tournament team by the Kansas Volleyball Coaches Assn. Schonewise is a 6-foot-2 junior middle blocker.

Radke Hole-in-One: Jared Radke used a 7-iron to ace the 147-yard No. 7 hole at Alvamar Country Club. Witnesses were John Butler, Kristi Butler and Josh Johnson.
