How easy was it to get into these cars? Did they have alarms?
I am not blaming the car owners. It think it is a royal pain that you have to go though life thinking of how someone is getting ready to steal from you.
Someone knows who did this. Even if it was just one person involved someone is going to notice they had something they did not have before.
It may sound like betrayal or even a little scary, but if you know someone has committed a crime you do need to report it.

Most cars don't have alarms that go of when you break the windows. But if you break the window than pull the inside door handle the alarm will go off. But these guys are breaking the windows and climbing through.
The report by LJ World also fails to mention that 7 other cars were broken into that same night just 2 blocks away from Home Circle on E 24th St
