Haskell Indian Nations University is the recipient of federal economic stimulus dollars, to go toward maintenance and health projects.
The university has received just under $2 million for several maintenance projects, including replacement heat pump units, a replacement telephone system and new plumbing in three buildings.
Also, additional stimulus funding has been identified for flooring renovations at the university’s health center, but a specific amount has not yet been designated for that repair.
