From the Lawrence Daily World for May 12, 1909: “Perched atop the steeple on the Episcopalian church here, Bjorksen, the human fly, was at his regular painting vocation. A big crowd had gathered to watch him work. Bjorksen is spending the week in Lawrence painting all the church steeples in town.”
