The second part of the program, scheduled to begin at 1 p.m., features senior military and Iraqi officials in conversation with Kansas political figures.

Panelists joining from Baghdad include Maj. Gen. David Perkins, director of strategic effects for the Multi-National Force — Iraq; Ali al-Dabbagh, spokesman for the government of Iraq; U.S. Ambassador to Iraq Adam Ereli; and Maj. Gen. Qassim Atta, military spokesman for the government of Iraq.

Both sessions are free and open to the public and will include time for questions. The events will take place in the Simons Media Room at the Dole Institute.
