Kings’ guard breaks cheek

Sacramento, Calif. — Sacramento Kings guard Bobby Jackson will undergo surgery to repair a broken cheekbone. Jackson broke his left cheekbone late in the Kings’ overtime loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday night.

Nets’ Williams arrested

Denver — New Jersey Nets forward Sean Williams was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and felony criminal mischief Monday after an altercation at a cell-phone store in a mall in suburban Lone Tree.

Tarpley settles lawsuit

Houston — Former NBA player Roy Tarpley settled a federal lawsuit against the NBA and the Dallas Mavericks in which he claimed the league and the team violated the Americans with Disabilities Act by refusing to reinstate him after a ban for drug use.

Warrior Jackson suspended

New York — The Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Jackson has been suspended one game without pay by the NBA for receiving his 16th technical foul this season. NBA executive vice president of operations Stu Jackson announced the discipline on Monday.
