The Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Mutt Run Dog Park, 1330 E. 902 Road, will be closed beginning Monday.

Road construction will cut off access to the park, as well as the outlet park and shelters.

Dog owners may use the off-leash dog park in Riverfront Park, accessible from the park entrance near the intersection of North Second Street and U.S. Highways 24 and 40.

Access to Eagle Bend Golf Course and Learning Center, 1250 E. 902 Road, will be available to northbound traffic only. Those wishing to access Eagle Bend from Clinton Parkway may follow a detour across the dam on East 900 Road, which circles around to North 1150 Road.

Road construction is scheduled to be completed in mid-April, weather permitting.
