Law enforcement report

• A series of auto burglaries occurred Wednesday night in the parking lot of Naismith Hall, 1800 Naismith Drive. A total of $1,500 in losses was reported between three separate vehicles.

One of the victims, a 19-year-old KU student who lived at the dormitory, told police that his Panasonic stereo was stolen in the incident. His dashboard and driver’s side window were also damaged, totaling $1,100 in losses.

Two other victims reported broken windows on their vehicles, but no stolen items.

Fire calls

Lawrence-Douglas County Fire Medical reported no fire calls Friday.
