Lawrence police are investigating a report of sodomy between a 28-year-old Lawrence man and a 6-year-old Arizona boy, a police report said.
The man reportedly had illegal physical contact with the child at an east Lawrence home the morning of Feb. 1, 2008, police said Thursday. The sex crime was reported to police on March 6 of this year.
Police said the suspect and victim are known to each other.

He might serve a few years, and then be let back out to hurt more children. It takes them killing a woman or child to actually get any serious jail time. This is exactly why these pigs continue to do this stuff. The punishment never comes close to the punishment they gave.

Sick indeed! I wonder if these people are ever cured, so to speak. I'm guessing once a pedophile, always a pedophile. What sickens me the most is an adult taking a child, using it for their own sexual pleasure and then killing that child. A family suffers a lifetime for a few minutes of pleasure for this person. I've heard they are the most reviled in prison and often get a lot of pay back. This is one time I would look the other way were I a guard. There's no way a child, especially a 6-year-old can consent to this.

this is disgusting. what is so tempting to people about small children? i say kill the guy. death penalty for sure. i also think they should string the dog killer guy right up along side him . Or we can parade the sickos down Mass street and use the broken pieces of curb to stone them. the world is a mad place

That's actually NOT true at all. Many are well reformed, but the news doesn't cover that and activist groups stretch the truth about recidivism rates.
Some - even many - are lost causes, but many get better and never reoffend. You'll never read about those.
