Legion Pancake Day: The American Legion’s Pancake Day to support summer baseball will be from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Legionacres, 3408 W. 6th.

Fifth-Grade Champs: CTG Bankers won the fifth-grade Div. II USSSA Mo-Kan State basketball tournament last weekend in Shawnee. Team members are Mikey Corbet (tourney MVP), Mikey Wycoff, Grant Capps, Madison Piper, Zach McDermott, Edward Warinner, Chase Houk and Hayden Brown. Coaches are Chris Piper, Greg Capps and John McDermott.
