Cici Rojas hired as Kansas Republican Party’s new executive director

Kansas Republican Party Chairwoman Amanda Adkins has hired Cici Rojas, the president and CEO of the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, to be the state party’s new executive director and run its day-to-day operations.

Rojas is originally from the Kansas City area and led the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City for five years.

“Cici will bring a new dimension of leadership and organization to the Kansas Republican Party,” said Adkins, who recently won election to the party’s top position. “Her innovative work as CEO for the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce combined with her vision and leadership will be major assets to the Kansas GOP going into the next election.”

Rojas has also served as a vice president for the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Washington.

“What we do over the next year will lead to important gains for our state that will last for decades,” Rojas said. “I look forward to meeting grassroots and elected leaders in the near future and can’t wait to visit the 105 counties to talk with Republicans across the state.”

She will replace Christian Morgan, a Lawrence resident who resigned in February to pursue other opportunities.
