Work starts Tuesday to repave a one-block stretch of 10th Street, a project that will include installation of a new sewer line for public restrooms at nearby Hobbs Park.
Contract crews are scheduled to remove existing pavement and place a new surface along 10th, from Pennsylvania to Delaware streets. Parking will be prohibited on that section of 10th, as construction continues.
The park is southeast of 10th and Delaware streets.
The entire project is expected to be finished by July 17.

I don't understand why they didn't put the new restrooms in the same location as the old ones. They had been close to the ball diamond, the play area, the picnic tables, and the Murphy-Bromelsick house. Now they'll be way over by the east fence, far away from everyone.
