Agriculture futures mostly rose Thursday. Wheat for July delivery slipped 1.25 cents to $5.9475, while July corn added 5.25 cents to $4.41. July oats gained 3 cents to $2.445. Soybeans for July delivery rose 21 cents to $12.67. Meanwhile, beef futures rose as pork futures slipped on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. August live cattle rose 0.63 cent to 81.45 cents, while August feeder cattle gained 0.20 cent to 96.37 cents. June lean hogs dropped 0.07 cent to 57 cents, and July pork bellies shed 0.35 cent to 55.55 cents.
