For fans who haven’t yet visited the new Kauffman Stadium, Lori Carson covers all the bases, offering a VIP tour of the recently completed renovations on this week’s “Home and Away.”

As the Royals celebrate their 40th anniversary, their fans can literally go where they’ve never gone before. Left field now features fountain seating, an open-air bar at the base of the Jumbotron and the soon-to-open Royals Hall of Fame.

Signature clubs and suites have received major-league updates, and all fans are sure to appreciate the expanded concourses that make for better mobility and less congestion.

More than just peanuts and Cracker Jack, Kauffman’s new concessions are now managed by Aramark and feature everything from Kansas City barbecue to Angus burgers and blackened catfish sandwiches. Right field boasts Rivals Sports Bar for game-time dining and a rooftop party deck.
