As of Thursday’s close, wheat for July delivery climbed 17.75 cents to $6.3525, while July corn rose 16 cents to $4.485 and July oats rose 8.25 cents to $2.635. Soybeans for July delivery rose 48 cents to $12.30. Meanwhile, beef futures traded higher, while pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. June live cattle rose 0.52 cent to 80.02 cents; August feeder cattle gained 0.48 cent to 96.6 cents; June lean hogs slipped 0.03 cent to 57.27 cents; and July pork bellies lost 3 cents to 62.95 cents.
