Kansas University assistant cross country coach and middle-distance/distance coach for the track team Doug Clark is resigning effective at the end of this season, a KU athletic department official confirmed Wednesday.

Clark, whose men’s cross country team finished 12th at the 2005 NCAA Championships and 20th the following season, assisted head coach Stanley Redwine at University of Tulsa for six seasons before they both came to Kansas. Clark also worked with Redwine for six seasons when both men were assistant coaches at Arkansas.
