The annual Kansas Department of Labor workers compensation seminar will be Sept. 1-2 at the Overland Park Convention Center. The two-day seminar will feature 34 experts presenting more than 20 classes on topics ranging from workers’ compensation basics to in-depth discussions of current issues.

In addition, the seminar will include a golf tournament Aug. 31 at the Sycamore Ridge Golf Course in Spring Hill. Registration is available online at dol.ks.gov/wc/html/wc_events_DBR.html, or on site beginning at noon the day of the tournament. Shotgun start is at 1 p.m. All proceeds go to the United Way.

Early two-day registration, through Aug. 17, is $120; and $140 afterward. Single-day registration is $80. Continuing education credits are offered.
