Topeka ? Anti-abortion activist Randall Terry wants Sen. Sam Brownback to lead a filibuster against the confirmation of Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor.

The founder of Operation Rescue spoke to reporters Wednesday outside Brownback’s Topeka office. The senator was in Washington.

Brownback spokesman Brian Hart noted the Kansas Republican has said he will vote against the Sotomayor confirmation. But Hart added he hadn’t heard of any plans for a filibuster.

Terry is on a 15-city media tour that started in Omaha, Neb. In Kansas, he made stops in Kansas City and Wichita.
