University Bridge Club announce results of its June 27 meeting, with hosts Virginia Williams, Lois Liebert, Florence McNicoll and Willie Stoltenberg.
Blue winners were Ray Ikenberry, first; Darlene Schneider, second; John Stark, third; Tom Waller, fourth; and George Bocquin, fifth.
Pink winners were Bebe Huxtable, first; Jane Golden, second; Willi Stark, third; Willie Stoltenberg, fourth; and Carol Smith, fifth.
• The Wednesday Afternoon Duplicate Bridge Club’s game on June 24 was directed by Chris Lane. North-South winners were Craig Huneke and Vince Nordberg, first in A, B and C; Bobby Patton and Harry Shaffer, second in A and B; Chris Lane and Carol Ball, third in A and B; and Marilyn Martin and Jack Flickinger, fourth in A and B, and second in C.
East-West winners were Klee Zaricky and Betty Collier, first in A and B; Yvonne Hedges and Sally Taylor, second in A and B; Bebe Huxtable and Wanna Roszel, third in A and B, and first in C; Virginia Seaver and Suzanne Wassmer, fourth in A; and Patrick Musick and Jolene Andersen, second in C.
• The Friday Afternoon Duplicate Bridge Club’s game on June 26 was directed by Virginia Seaver. North-South winners were Harry Shaffer and Grant Sutton, first in A and B; Lois Clark and Kent McCullough, second in A and B; Earle Core and Shari Krentzel, third in A and B; Eldon Herd and Chuck Hedges, fourth in A; and John Fittell and Eleanor Patton, first in C.
East-West winners were Paul Heitzman and David Piro, first in A; Klee Zaricky and Sally Taylor, second in A and first in B; Jean Otney and Florine Creek, third in A, second in B, and first in C; Catherine Blumenfeld and Lynn Hui, fourth in A, third in B, and second in C; and Katha Hurt and L. Schottler tied in fourth in B with Craig Huneke and Hailong Dao and Mona Bell and Madelyn Jenks.
• The Monday Evening Duplicate Bridge Club’s game was directed by Virginia Seaver. North-South winners were Peter Petillo and Brian Barrett, first in A and B; Vince Nordberg and Jim Stewart, second in A and B, and first in C; Lois Jones and Judy Hildreth third in A; and Harry Shaffer and James Masilamani, fourth in A.
East-West winners were Craig Huneke and Jeremy Martin, first in A, B and C; Steven Vossler and Larry Weatherholt, second in A; David Piro and Paul Heitzman, third in A; Jeane Landry and Lynn Hui, fourth in A; and Emily Foster and Lois Clark, second in B and C.
