Adrienne Boyd-Akers, Lawrence, was promoted to the position of financial services officer at Douglas County Bank by the bank’s Board of Directors.

Boyd-Akers joined the bank as a teller at the Malls Branch in May 1996, and served as an assistant manager and then manager of the branch. She became a financial services representative II at the downtown Douglas County Bank location in 2001 and was promoted to financial services supervisor in 2008.

Boyd-Akers is the liaison for the bank’s merchant credit card program and is responsible for the bank’s e-Deposit program for business customers.
