Someone will have to present a paper on the important of Universities and the threat of underfunding. At the conclusion of the paper everyone adjourns for wine and cheese.

This should be great theatre -- and one of the KU community's few remaining opportunities to observe just how befuddled, stuttering, and ineffectual ol' Bob has become. And the audience can always be counted on to supply inane and ineffectually worded questions. And the news will not be pleasant, and the atmosphere should prove to be morale-destroying.Kind of like a demotion derby -- you can guarantee that there will be some crashes.Get your funnel cakes here!

A budget forum. Kinda late one would think. This is a way to rub elbows and whine a bit and pat each other on the back. The Chancellor should be having an all school assembly for KU staff, all of them and lay the facts on the auditorium stage. NO money!!
