A Lawrence woman remained hospitalized in Kansas City, Kan., Monday after a two-vehicle wreck Saturday night at 23rd and Massachusetts streets.

Cristy White, 29, said Monday from Kansas University Hospital that she would likely remain there for several days. White said doctors were continuing to run tests on her after she suffered a head injury and other injuries.

White was driving a Chevrolet pickup truck that was involved in a collision with another vehicle Saturday night at the intersection. Another man was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital, and White was flown via air ambulance to Kansas City, Kan.

Kim Murphree, a police spokeswoman, said Monday the accident report was not complete, and that police would not release any more information until it was.
