Caroline A. Williams graduated from the Air National Guard Academy of Military Science at McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base, Knoxville, Tenn., and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Air National Guard.

The six-week course prepares officer candidates for initial assignment as commissioned officers and for careers in the Air Force reserve components. The major subject areas of instruction included military studies, physical training, academic studies, professional development, communicative skills, leadership and management, international security and defense studies.

After graduation, Williams will either attend further career development training or returns to her resident state unit of assignment.

Williams, a weather officer, is assigned to the 127th Weather Flight, Forbes Field, Topeka. She graduated from Baldwin High School in 1996 and earned a bachelor’s degree from Kansas University in 2007.

She is the daughter of James and Krystal Williams, Baldwin City.
