Legion Pancake Day: The American Legion’s Pancake Day to support summer baseball will be from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 7 at Legionacres, 3408 W. 6th. Volunteers are needed to work the event as well as donations to help offset the cost. Call Jerry Hanson at 842-6887.

Force U-11 Third: Kaw Valley Force U-11 earned third place in the Kansas City Futsal Super F League. LIAC Lanes Open: Public swimming will be available this weekend at the Lawrence Indoor Aquatic Center even though the Missouri Valley West Div. II championships will be under way.
