Pickup of yard waste to resume on Monday
The city will soon resume collections of yard waste.
On Monday, city crews will begin collecting grass clippings, leaves, and small brushy debris. Crews will collect the material once-per-week, on Mondays.
The material is taken to the city’s Wood Recycling and Compost Facility, where it is turned into compost.
As in past years, the city will not accept yard waste material that is in plastic bags. Only cans, carts or compostable paper bags can be used for yard waste.
