Troop 53 will have its 89th annual chili feed Feb. 28 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 946 Vt. Tickets will be available at the door.

Troop 55, chartered by Westside Presbyterian Church, held its annual movie night and camp-in Dec. 27 at the Troop 55 cabin. Scouts watched “Iron Man” and then enjoyed an intermission of pizza, chips, cookies and soda before watching “Hancock.”

Boy Scout Troop 60, chartered to First Baptist Church, held a Junior Leadership Training Jan. 9-11. Scouts attending were Mason Davis, Eric Glogau, Blake Haley, Caelen Golledge, Tyler Kendrick, Steven Ozaki and Darren Rawlings.

The Troop also participated on a Klondike campout Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 at Melvern Lake. Scouts attending were Mason Davis, Eric Glogau, Jake Keary, Steven Ozaki and Darren Rawlings. Leaders attending were Cindy Glogau, Dave Ozaki and Richard Rawlings.
