Eudora ? Veritas Christian charged to a 31-point first-quarter lead and defeated Kansas School for the Deaf, 72-22, on Tuesday night in high school boys basketball.

The Eagles, who led 38-7 after one quarter and 51-10 at halftime, were paced by John Hicks with 15 points and Taylor Zook with 14.

Veritas (6-14) will play host to Flint Hills Christian at 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
