Veritas girls triumph

Eudora ? Kirsten Bennett scored 12 points, and Veritas Christian’s girls basketball team defeated Kansas School for the Deaf, 64-22, on Tuesday.
Kayli Farley added 10, and Becky Finger had 10 points and six rebounds for Veritas, which improved to 6-14 on the season.
“We really did well in full-court pressure and caused a lot of early turnovers,” Veritas coach Kevin Shelton said about his team causing 18 turnovers in the first quarter and 44 for the game.
