Eudora — In a span of 30 seconds Tuesday night, Drew Noble hit a three-pointer, grabbed a defensive rebound and hit another three.

The series of plays sparked the Cardinals, and they cut an early deficit to two at the end of the first half. But Eudora scored only 12 more points in the second half

Justin Ballock led Eudora with 18.

Eudora girls 46, St. James 33

Eudora — With his team up by 10 with three minutes to go, Eudora coach Ryan Luke didn’t instruct his team to slow down and run clock. He told them to speed up.

The strategy worked, and Eudora pulled away from St. James.

Bailey Scott led Eudora with 15 points.

Basehor-Linwood girls 52, Santa Fe Trail 36

Basehor — Amanda Bixel scored 12 points, but Santa Fe Trail fell to Basehor-Linwood.

Lansing 56, Tonganoxie boys 50

Lansing — The Tonganoxie High boys basketball team trailed by nine entering the fourth quarter and cut Lansing’s lead to two but still lost.

Junior Keaton Schaffer (19 points) and senior Austin Smith (21 points) combined for 40 points of Tonganoxie’s 50 points.

Lansing 58, Tonganoxie girls 43

Lansing — Senior forward Roni Grizzle scored 20 points to lead the Chieftains.

Baldwin boys 56, Paola 48

Baldwin City — Four Bulldogs scored in double figures.

Brandon Tommer led the Bulldogs with 17 points. Also scoring in double figures were Clad Kueffer (15), Zach Wright (10) and Justin Vander Tuig (12).

Baldwin City — Allison Howard led Baldwin with eight points.
