Prosecutors charged an 18-year-old Lawrence man with criminal discharge of a firearm Tuesday.

James McAdams was arrested Friday afternoon at his home in the 1600 block of West 20th Terrace.

Police said the case stems from an incident earlier this month in the 500 block of Fireside Drive.

The suspect was booked in Douglas County Jail, where he remains on $50,000 bond.

McAdams is expected to be back in court at 2 p.m. Feb. 24.
